I just walked by Ed from 'Barnaked Ladies' in the hall at work. Isn't that veird?
I wanted to make some sort of song reference, but then the only one i could think of on the spot was 'hey ed, what would you do if you had a million dollars..' and that just seemed lame and un-imaginitive. So, i just said hi.

Are you serious? The real guy was right beside you in the hallway? That would be so weird! Do you see lots of famous people like that?
ahhh.. sadly, no. well, maybe famous canadian people, but that is a sagging scale. mostly NHL players and new anchors, with the odd rockstar. I do record regular reads with Loyd Robertson for national news.. oh, and one time i walked by the studio downstairs and Paul Potts was singing (the guy who won Britain's Got Talent for singing the opera stuff) on Canada AM. Sounded incredible. didn't see him though.
ok.. shoot, did I drop something?? oh, just a bunch of names.. my bad.

I have no idea when we're coming home - sometime in May. Waiting on Mom for that info (good ol' Bartel airmiles, you know...).
